Stucco Colors
When it comes to stucco there are a plethora of colors to choose from. Depending on the material you decide to go with your options will change.
Luckily there are only two factors to consider when making your decision… synthetic stucco or traditional stucco. Depending on your situation or preference you may find yourself gravitating towards one option or the other. Conveniently if you are going with traditional stucco there is only one manufacturer, La Habra (formerly El Rey) and if you decide to go with synthetic, your color choice can be easily matched even if it is not on the color chart associated with the manufacture you choose.
Please see below for the three most common color charts here in New Mexico.
Synthetic
Originally manufactured by BASF, Senergy has gained popularity throughout New Mexico for its proprietary formula which takes our regions climate into consideration.
Synthetic
This little yellow bucket can be seen in the back of many work trucks in the Santa Fe area. Having gained much of its popularity in the early 2000’s, Sto is one of the original manufactures of synthetic stucco.
Traditional
La Habra, formerly known as El Rey has deep roots in New Mexico as it was originally manufactured in Albuquerque.
They still offer many of the traditional colors and meet many of the requirements set by the historic societies in our state.
